Marvel Refrigeration began in 1892 as Ranney Refrigeration, making it the oldest refrigeration company in North America. They pioneered the first foamed-in-place refrigerator, the first stainless steel interior and glass-door built-in unit, and the first wine cellars and beverage centers. They are leaders in appliance refrigeration technology with an extensive product offering: wine cellars, beverage refrigerators, undercounter refrigerators, outdoor refrigerators, ice machines and beer dispensers, plus the industry’s widest selection of integrated refrigeration design options in widths ranging from a mere 18 inches to a spacious 72 inches — the widest in the industry. They build all their luxury appliances in the United States.

Their Aga Cast Iron Range with its multiple ovens and hotplates make it one of the most sought after luxury cooking appliances in the world.

The larger built in refrigerator models are marketed as Northland appliances which has grown to become the premiere source for custom handcrafted refrigeration systems for the home. Heartland Appliances
Heartland product family of gas, electric, and dual fuel ranges, and woodburning cookstoves is inspired by the legendary Oval Woodburning cookstove first built in 1925 as a cooking solution to the gas crisis. Lustrous nickel-plated trim, elegantly shaped handles and legs, and the vintage oven temperature gauge are just some of the design features that distinguish Heartland from all others. Heartland handcrafted products have now expanded to include a complete line of kitchen products including gas, electric and dual fuel ranges, dishwashers, refrigerators and wood burning cookstoves which are all manufactured in AGA Marvel’s manufacturing facility in Greenville, Michigan.
